Configure Tools (Maven/Java/Git) in Jenkins

Follow the below mentioned steps to configure tools like Maven,Java and Git in Jenkins.

1. Go to Manage Jenkins -> Manage Plugins page in Jenkins.

2. In the available tab select plugins – Git Plugin, Maven Integration Plugin and Oracle Java SE Development Kit Installer Plugin.

3. Click on Install without restart button to install all the plugins.

4. Go to Manage Jenkins -> Global Tool Configuration

5. Click on Add JDK button and deselect the “Install automatically” checkbox.
6. Enter “Default” in name field and enter the local JDK installation directory path in JAVA_HOME field.

7. Select Git from Add Git dropdown and deselect the “Install automatically” checkbox.

8. Enter Default in name field and enter the local directory path of git.exe in Path to Git executable path.

 9. Click on Add Maven button and deselect the “Install automatically” checkbox.

10. Enter “Default” in name field and enter the local Maven installation directory path in MAVEN_HOME field.
